100% Testing for Quality Assurance

We perform Quality Assurance Testing on 100% of our centrifugal booster pumps, ensuring that you get your pump as specified.

By design, a centrifugal pump is a very simple machine. There are two significant components that convert energy from a driver (motor or engine) to mechanical energy in terms of velocity and pressure. They are the impeller and the volute/diffuser.

As the impeller turns, these components do not contact each other directly at all. This means that parts do not wear on each other, they wear only by components of the liquid being pumped. Most failures can be eliminated with proper assembly.

Webtrol ensures that all centrifugal booster pumps leave the factory in good working order by testing each pump before packaging. Pumps are tested for performance, seal leaks, and motor specs to assure that the pump meets your order. A Performance Tested sticker is applied to each pump and is signed and dated by the technician after passing our quality assurance testing. When you receive your Webtrol pump and open the box, you will find this sticker on the pump verifying that it meets your request as ordered.

As with any machine, at some point, a component can fail structurally, but testing finds many of these and drastically reduces failures in the field.

Quality is important at Webtrol. 100% testing is one of the ways that quality is being maintained. In turn, you can be assured your Webtrol pump will perform as specified.
