Booster Pumps: Where You Need Them Most

Booster pumps can provide much needed water pressure where the municipal water supply is insufficient. Many commercial, industrial, agricultural, and residential applications depend on additional pressure provided by booster pumps.

Commercial

Booster pumps are used in office buildings, hospitals, hotels, and factories to maintain water pressure on higher floors. This ensures that processes, restrooms, fire suppression, and sprinkler systems all have adequate water pressure.

Industrial

Booster pumps can be used in a variety of processes that require high fluid pressure, such as filtration, reverse osmosis, HVAC, boiler feed, and heat exchangers. In manufacturing, booster pumps can supply high-pressure water for cutting, cooling, and cleaning.

Agricultural

Supplying water to irrigate crops or provide drinking water for livestock in remote areas are dependent on high water pressure. Poultry farms also rely on booster pumps for watering their birds as well as facility washdowns.

Residential

Booster pumps are used in taller apartment buildings to ensure that higher floors have enough water pressure for all their resident’s needs. Small housing developments or subdivisions, whose water is supplied by a water well, can benefit from constant pressure supplied by a booster.

The Webtrol NV Vertical Boosters produce water pressure up to 465 psi. These pumps are used in water purification as well as water systems in high rise buildings and fire suppression systems. Because of the space saving design, pumps are often placed in parallel and controlled by a single device to provide a wide variety of flow and pressure combinations. They are a direct replacement for the Grundfos CR Series with matching bolt pattern and flange-to-flange spacing.

Our EZ Series Booster Pumps boost pressure by over 500 psi. These pumps are ideal for the water treatment and medical industries which require high pressures through filters and membranes for purity.

Webtrol HT Series Booster Pumps are a higher flow horizontal pump. They are capable of flows up to 100 gallons per minute and pressures to 780 psi. These pumps are popular in water treatment systems used in disaster areas, car washes, and desalination systems.
